At the Playhouse, we foster a love for learning through a balanced approach that nurtures the whole child. Emotional Regulation and Well-Being<\/strong>

Social-emotional learning is critical for children\u2019s ability to build relationships, manage their emotions, and navigate school and life challenges. Through storytelling, mindfulness, play, and yoga we help children understand their emotions, build empathy, enhance focus and concentration, and develop self-awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fine and Gross Motor Skills<\/strong>

Physical activities like drawing, scissor-work, yoga, and dancing support children’s physical and cognitive development, coordination, and confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TK and Kindergarten Readiness<\/strong>

We build foundational skills for future academic success through engaging, hands-on activities that support early literacy and numeracy. Children develop shape, color, number, and letter recognition, practice writing through Handwritting without Tears, counting, and learn their letter sounds through song and zoo-phonics<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Rich Language Environment
<\/strong>
Our classrooms are filled with stories, songs, and conversations that build vocabulary and comprehension. Through storytelling, call-and-response activities, and interactive discussions, children develop strong communication skills and become excited about language!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We introduce earth science, weather, animals, and safe, fun chemistry experiments to inspire curiosity about the natural world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
